Ship of Dreams Sets Stylish Sail From Singapore

SINGAPORE The first sign of civility to come was that the SeabournSpirit waited for us.

Ragged and smelly - 21 hours on a plane defeats even basichygiene - we stumbled into equatorial Singapore a half hour past theship's scheduled sailing time. And there is was, the 10,000-tonNorwegian beauty gleaming beside the frumpy freighters and spindlysampans that crowd Singapore's harbor.
